I am Professor of Agri-Food Studies at the University of Gloucestershire. I have over 22 years’ experience in social science research and significant expertise in agri-food studies, rural geography and geographies of food. My research focuses on agri-food sustainability and governance, using mixed and participatory methods. I have led prestigious EU and UK funded projects, involving co-ordination of large interdisciplinary teams, and I work frequently with natural scientists and policymakers. I have published over 80 papers in international peer-reviewed journals. I am Associate Editor of the Journal of Rural Studies and Chair of the RGS-IBG Food Geographies Research Group.
