I joined the BBRO in 2018, where I took up the position of Head of BBRO. During my time at BBRO I have further developed the team, now with a stronger focus on KE, to ensure that practical science drives change on-farm. The skills and expertise within the team continue to grow from strength to strength under my leadership.
Prior to joining BBRO, I spent 15 years with the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB) where I worked across all six AHDB sectors to drive further change to bring the sectors into more alignment over commissioning new research and KE activities and reduce duplication, thus, providing more cost benefit for levy payers. In my former years I specialised in managing the research programme for the cereals and oilseeds sector with HGCA as it was at the time.
